Sony has confirmed today that two of their top games from Sony Online Entertainment will be making their way to the PlayStation 4. Planetside 2 and DC Universe Online will both see digital release on the soon-to-be-released console. The good news is that both games will arrive in the free-to-play model.
A release date for both games has not been given at this time, but both games are already launched on other platforms, so they could be launch titles for the new system. PlayStation 3 owners may have already gotten to try DC Universe Online, the game was of the first of its kind to hit the PlayStation Network as a free-to-play MMORPG.
Planetside 2 on the other hand is an MMOFPS, which was more recently released on the PC. If the two end up being launch titles for the PlayStation 4, those who step up to buy the system on day one will have games included with their purchase without even spending a dime.
