It would be an understatement to say that the launch of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC was less than ideal; a myriad of technical issues continues to plague PC players, so much so that sales of Arkham Knight on PC were suspended by Warner Bros. Rumors persist that Arkham Knight won’t be fixed for months to come, with an interim patch expected shortly.
Whether the patch alleviates the multitude of issues that plague Arkham Knight remains to be seen, but for the lucky few that have a functional version of Arkham Knight on PC, a brand new mod may be of interest.
Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler, Alfred, has often been a source of great advice for Batman, but he’s seldom entered the fray himself. That’s all set to change, as a new mod proves that looks can indeed be very deceiving. Dressed from head to toe in his usual work attire, Alfred punches and kicks past the mobs of Gotham’s streets with impudent ease.
Unfortunately, his moveset is rather limited, with him unable to perform counter-attacks, environmental takedowns or dual takedowns, but hey, for an elderly butler, it’s still pretty impressive.
Batman: Arkham Knight released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 23rd. As the fourth game in the series, and the final in Rocksteady’s trilogy, we thought it an outstanding send-off to a great series of games.
