Yesterday it was announced that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds would be having another weekend-long War mode event. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long. The event was ended prematurely due to “server instability,” according to the developers.
PUBG recently underwent emergency maintenance to fix these issues, but the War Mode event will not be returning until a later date. This War Mode event was billed as an exciting one. War Mode is a team deathmatch style event that has players fighting it out in a more confined area.
The rules for this event sounded enticing, giving players high-end gear and weapons to start the match. It also sounded like a good use for Miramar.
According to PUBG Corp’s Twitter account, the developer is “Investing to ensure this doesn’t happen again in the future.”
