The next Pokémon GO Community Day has been revealed, and it’s time for another starter Pokémon to take the spotlight. This time, the Hoenn Fire-type starter Torchic will be the star.
It was recently revealed that Torchic will be featured during next month’s Community Day event, which will take place on Sunday, May 19. For those unfamiliar with Community Day, this means that from 3:00pm to 6:00pm local time, Torchic will have a much greater spawn rate than usual, and there will even be an increased chance of finding a Shiny Torchic. Additionally, there will be a few other bonuses happening in that time frame, such as Lures lasting for three hours instead of the usual thirty minutes, and players receiving three times as much Stardust as usual for catching Pokémon during Community Day hours.
Also, an exclusive move will become available to the Torchic line during Community Day. What exactly this exclusive move will be has yet to be revealed, but whatever it is, it’s a move that the Torchic line can’t usually learn in Pokémon GO and the only way to get it is by having Torchic’s evolved form, Combusken, evolve into a Blaziken during the Community Day hours.
