Another game has been rated by the ESRB with Ratchet and Clank PS4 now being rated. Some more new details have been posted about the game’s content.
Since Ratchet and Clank PS4 is aimed at kids, it received an E for Everyone rating. The recommended age is 10 and up. The content descriptors are: “Animated Blood, Fantasy Violence”.
The rating summary says: “This is an action-adventure game in which players help Ratchet and Clank save the galaxy from an evil villain. From a third-person perspective, players traverse colorful alien worlds and use an assortment of “cartoony” weapons (e.g., Magma Buster, Sheepanator, Glove of Doom) to defeat alien creatures and enemy robots.
Battles are frequent and frenetic, accompanied by large explosions, gunfire, and cries of pain. Enemies generally disappear amid green blood-like splashes and scattered nuts and bolts when defeated.”
Ratchet and Clank PS4 is somewhat both a remake and a new game as described by Insomniac Games. It reimagines the events of the first game, but it has modern controls and far better graphics than the original PS2 version.
The game will be released on April 12th, 2016 in North America exclusively for the PS4. An animated movie will also be out on April 29th, 2016.
