Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality will arrive on April 20th for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. The game will hit Steam and the Oculus Store for a price of $29.99. Fans have been anxiously awaiting this new VR game as it offers a hilarious glimpse into the world of the Adult Swim series.

Coming from Owlchemy Labs, the makers of Job Simulator, Rick and Morty VR already has a lot of hype around it, even before you factor in the massive cult following of the series. Tacking on the Rick and Morty universe makes for a dynamic combo though, which we really loved when we checked it out at PAX West.

“Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality is a fast-paced, chaotic VR adventure complete with mechanics and mayhem only possible in VR. Fans will experience the show in a totally new way– personally living life as a clone of Morty and all the trauma that comes with it. Navigate and rummage through Rick’s garage and the Smith household, and step through portals to alternate worlds. Follow Rick’s directions at your own risk to solve puzzles and complete missions in room-scale virtual reality.”

The Rick and Morty cartoon series just surprised the internet on April 1st, launching their Season 3 premier without any announcement or fanfare. It took many people, including myself, some time to even believe it was real, as the season had been taking so long to arrive. Rick and Morty Season 3 isn’t fully back yet, with a Summer release planned for the rest of the series. Rick and Morty VR should help keep fans busy while they wait though.

As far as the gameplay of this new VR experience, expect something similar to Job Simulator. Players will solve puzzles and explore spaces from the series, all in VR. Check it out when it arrives on PC for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on April 20th.
