Ahead of GTA Vs release tomorrow, Rockstar has today released the two companion apps available for your iPhone, iPad, Android devices, Windows Phone, Playstation Mobile, PS Vita and PC.
The first of the two; Grand Theft Auto: iFruit allows you to customise your car through Los Santos Customs and order custom license plates as well. It also contains a mini-game called Chop The Dog in which you look after a virtual, mobile version of Franklins Rottweiler Chop. Succeeding in this and, when playing as Franklin on GTA V, you’ll have access enhanced in-game features.
The second of the two apps is Grand Theft Auto V: The Manual, an app which contains the manual for the game, with over 100 pages of basic controls, guides on what to do in Los Santos and all the bits inbetween. Rockstar say this app was designed because they simply couldn’t fit everything into the traditional paper manual found in the game.
Both these apps are completely free with Grand Theft Auto: iFruit available now on iPhone and iPad with Grand Theft Auto V: The Manual following sometime later today. The release dates for the Android and Windows Phone, Playstation Mobile and PS Vita versions of these apps are yet to be confirmed. Grand Theft Auto: iFruit is not available on PC but Grand Theft Auto V: The Manual is.
