We may have an estimated final release date for Final Fantasy XV if Amazon Japan is to be believed. If this release date is true, Final Fantasy fans can finally celebrate.
According to the listing on Amazon Japan, the release date is estimated to be on June 1st, 2016. The date is feasible if you look at the evidence.
Square Enix previously hinted that the release date might be in Summer 2016. We also know that they plan on announcing the release date during a special event in March 2016. The game will also be out simultaneously worldwide and this date is a perfect time to release a game of this magnitude
Any date between June or September for Final Fantasy XV seems plausible. I doubt Square Enix wants to release the game in Fall 2016. Fall is usually a busy time as people will be playing lots of other games instead. June is not so crowded so it’s the perfect time to drop a big game like this.
Treat this news as a rumor for now until we get an official release date. Even an official release date may not be final until the game goes gold. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End got delayed recently by one month. Hopefully the 2016 release is still legit. The last thing fans want is another delay for the game…
