A former Rockstar employee may have dropped a hint that Red Dead Redemption 2 might be in development right now during a recent Reddit AMA.

Former Rockstar employee, Danny Ross, was asked on Reddit if he could drop a hint on the next game the studio is currently working on. He gave an interesting comment that could prove the developer is working on a new game based on the cowboy series.

He said: “Really? Dumbass. Really? Two.” The first letters in everything spells out “Red Dead Redemption 2”. A Reddit user noted Ross’ account is verified as he posted a picture of himself. Not to mention Ross still has connections with current employees with Rockstar so it’s not like he left on bad terms.

However, Ross could have just been trolling/joking. Still, Rockstar has yet to reveal what they are currently working on. The last big game they released was Grand Theft Auto V.

It’s also likely the game won’t be called Red Dead Redemption 2. This is because the next game will actually be the third game of the series. The first game was called Red Dead Revolver, although it was not as popular as Red Dead Redemption.

Do you feel Rockstar is working on a new Red Dead Redemption video game? Would you like to play another game in the series?
