Supermassive Games might be planning some special DLC for Until Dawn that might be compatible with the PlayStation VR headset.

Destructoid received an email today about some upcoming plans for some Until Dawn DLC. The DLC is question will be titled “Rush of Blood”.

The interesting part about this DLC is that it might not have the same type of gameplay as the base game. The description suggests it will be an on-rails first-person shooter that is used for the PlayStation VR headset.

Sony is currently testing out the DLC in the UK and the source that played it gave a short description for it. It is an on-rails experience where you are transported into a mine cart. The section that was played only lasted for 20 minutes that there are jump scares galore.

The DLC was playable using the DUALSHOCK 4 controller as well as two Move controllers. There are no indications what the character you are playing as yet.

As for the gameplay, you will shoot targets in the snow and then go towards the house. After killing numerous enemies, you then make your way inside the house to “kill” a ghost.

It all sounds pretty weird, so take this news as a rumor for now. Although Supermassive Games has been keen to do more with Until Dawn after the PS4 exclusive sold better than expected.
