Setting Assassin’s Creed III during the Revolutionary War gives Ubisoft a whole new cast of historical figures to draw from in their upcoming game.  Like Leonardo DaVinci did in Assaassin’s Creed II, Benjamin Franklin will play a role in Assassin’s Creed III, but not in quite the same way.

Ubisoft is going to explore a different side of Franklin, according to PAReport.  “So we got him in a little bit, we went with the more unusual sides of him.  Like his love of women,” Alex Hutchinson explained. “Exploring this little talked about side of one the founding fathers of the United States is going to be challenging, especially when it paints the character in a bad light.

“He said that women dry out, but they dry out from the top down, and therefore the bits that you need never dry out,” Hutchinson explained when talking about Franklin’s love for older women.  “I know we’re going to get complaints, but this is all public record.”

Asssassin’s Creed III: The Rise of the Silver Fox is due out in fall of 2012.
