The developers of Heavy Rain and the upcoming Beyond: Two Souls are quite happy with their situation at Sony, and have no plans of leaving anytime soon. According to a recent interview, Quantic Dream’s CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere explained their “fantastic” relationship with the company.

“Ever since we started our partnership, Sony just said it was going to give us the money to build these games and we said we were going to work as hard as we could and reward it for its trust,” the CEO told OPM.

“We’re certainly not going to change partner for the sake of making more money; that’s not the philosophy behind our studio. As long as we can create the games we want to create, we’ll stay with Sony.”

With Sony putting up the cash it allows Quantic Dream to take bigger risks, with development that leads to titles like Heavy Rain. Anything but traditional, it was one of the most unique games that graced consoles this generation. Beyond: Two Souls looks to break the mold yet again, when it releases this October for the PlayStation 3.
