Star Fox Guard Promo Footage Released

While Star Fox Zero is set to be the main Star Fox attraction when it releases next month on Wii U, it will also be coming with Star Fox Guard when it launches. We now have some new promo footage of the game to get a better look at what it’s all about.

The footage features Grippy Toad (Slippy’s uncle) as we get a brief look at some of the gameplay going on in the mini game. Gameplay utilizes both the TV screen and Wii U gamepad, with the gamepad serving more as a map. The TV screen is also broken up into multiple segments that are represented by numbers on the gamepad. You can check out the video at the bottom of this post.

While Star Fox Guard will be serving more as a side game, Star Fox Zero is set to be a full reimagining of Star Fox 64. The game will feature much more content than that game, however, with new levels, vehicles and modes to play through.

Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard will launch for Wii U on April 22nd.
