While most of the coverage for the next entry in the Star Ocean series has been for the Japanese version of the game, recently we have been getting more and more information regarding the US version. Now, thanks to a recent Twitch broadcast that featured the game, we know when the game will be headed west.
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will be coming to the west this Summer, with specific release info coming soon. The game will be launching in Japan on March 31st for PlayStation 4, whereas the PlayStation 3 version will be launching on April 28th.
One thing to note, however, is that the game will not be getting a PlayStation 3 release outside of Japan, with all other regions only having access to the PlayStation 4 version. However, considering how much of an upgrade the current-gen version is over the last-gen version that doesn’t seem like it will be a big loss.
The last release in the Star Ocean series was 2009’s Star Ocean: The Last Hope, which was released for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
