EA has given some small details as to what the DLC for Star Wars Battlefront will include.
EA and DICE revealed a $50 Season Pass before announcing any details for the upcoming DLC. Now we kind of know what the DLC might include.
As reported by Gamespot, EA COO Peter Moore confirmed during EA’s earnings call that Star Wars Battlefront will be receiving four DLC expansion packs over the next 12 to 18 months.
Moore’s details were not heavy, but he mentioned there will be new universes, new player actions and some new weaponry too. The exact content of the DLC will not be revealed until the coming weeks that lie ahead.
The actual game is not out until November 17th, so it’s possible EA won’t be revealing DLC details until the game has been released first. It’s not smart marketing to announce all the DLC before the base game even comes out.
We do know some free Star Wars: The Force Awakens content will be released in December. This DLC serves as a mini-prequel to the upcoming film out in December 18th.
As for the rest of the DLC, people are hoping some prequel content is included. The Clone Wars is a huge part of the Star Wars series and they were included in the older Battlefront games.
