A brand new Nintendo Direct is coming our way on November 1st at 10am Eastern Time. This presentation will focus on the biggest upcoming game for Nintendo Switch: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Forty minutes of new footage and information will be shared by Nintendo, making for a huge treasure trove for fans to sift through before the game finally arrives later this year.

This latest Nintendo Direct is said to be the last to focus on Smash Bros. So far the game has been featured in a number of different presentations, and was the star of Nintendo’s E3 in 2018. Tournaments, Nintendo Directs, and random info dumps have all led to this one last show, and fans will certainly want to watch the whole thing live.

And if that wasn’t enough, Nintendo is promising a live Treehouse presentation after the Direct concludes. This will feature gameplay from Smash as well as other upcoming Switch titles like Pokémon: Let’s Go and Diablo 3. The Switch is looking to maintain momentum through the end of 2018, which has been a fantastic year for the console and its producer. Smash is the big game this holiday season, but what could 2019 bring? We won’t find out with this Direct it seems, but look forward to more afterward.
