Bandai Namco has now released a new trailer for Tekken 7 which shows off some of the gameplay and explains more of the new features.
The new Tekken 7 gameplay footage comes from the arcade version. This is our first proper look of the gameplay and graphics for the game. Back in October, the only footage non-Japanese gamers got were offscreen videos of the arcade tests that Bandai Namco held.
The Tekken 7 graphics do look very impressive thanks to Unreal Engine 4. The trailer does explain the new features that have been included, although most of the dialogue is all in Japanese.
From what I gathered from the Tekken 7 trailer, there is a new gameplay mechanic added. It looks like juggling will play a huge part in the game. Asuka Kazama in particular has a new wind-up punch that looks pretty cool. Paul Phoenix also has a new combo too as seen in the trailer.
Bandai Namco has also increased the amount of customization that you can do in Tekken 7. Much like in previous games, you can decorate how you want your character to look.
Lastly, the new Tekken 7 trailer also shows us in more detail the two new characters. Those characters are Claudio and Katarina.
