Bethesda Softworks has today released an official gameplay trailer for The Evil Within: The Executioner downloadable content pack.

This add-on puts players in the shoes of The Keeper throughout a series of battle arenas and, to spice it up, is all from a first person perspective. Players will have to fight through the Victoriano Estate Manor House to unlock new weapons and upgrades including The Keeper’s signature hammer. According to the developers the DLC focuses on both “first-person melee combat” and “discovery” as you find out the story behind The Keeper.

As the third and final add-on, The Executioner is the last piece of content from The Evil Within’s Season Pass. The Season Pass, which is available for $19.99/£14.99, comes with all three DLCs: The Evil Within: The Assignment, The Evil Within: The Consequence and The Evil Within: The Executioner. It is also possible to buy all three DLCs separately but by purchasing all three bundled together in the season pass gamers can save themselves a few dollars.

Here’s the gameplay trailer for the new downloadable content.

The Evil Within: The Executioner DLC is available from today, May 26th on Xbox One and Xbox 360 via Xbox LIVE, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network and PC. The Evil Within itself is on sale on Steam, with 50% off, until June 1st.
