The Last of Us Part II Leads PlayStation Now October 2021 Lineup

Recommended Videos

PlayStation Now has been making strides recently in bringing the biggest and best titles to the subscription service. This month is no different with the PlayStation Now October lineup bringing a myriad of varied gaming experiences for players to enjoy. The Last of Us Part II makes its bold stand at the front of the pack for this month’s range of games. There are seven titles in total that are available as of the time of writing for the service this month. Each one will have something for everyone and it is a very exciting time to be living as a fan of PlayStation.

The Last of Us Part II has an average main story length of twenty-four hours but that can easily increase if playing through the game at a leisurely rate. The game offers an emotional masterpiece in AAA gaming and a thought-provoking narrative with philosophical undertones which evoke a myriad of feelings from different players. As any creative medium should. Notably, this was an extremely unsuspected game for PlayStation Now to have on its lineup but needless to say, many fans of the action-adventure genre will be flocking to the storefront at the moment to play through the game for the first time if they haven’t already done so.

That isn’t the only high-budget title on its way this month. Horror games such as the Amnesia series will be present too along with Fallout 76. The full list of games is as follows, PlayStation Now will give you access to:

  • The Last of Us Part II
  • Fallout 76
  • Desperados III
  • Amnesia: Collection
  • Final Fantasy VIII Remastered
  • Yet Another Zombie Defense
  • Victor Vran: Overkill Edition

Observably, there is an abundance of games to be picked up this month, one of which is Final Fantasy VIII Remastered and will allow those who haven’t had the chance to play the classic time to sink their teeth into the 1999 Final Fantasy Entry. Those who want to play through a vast open-world multiplayer RPG game can opt for Fallout 76 and team up with their chosen partners while venturing through West Virginia together.

Players will want to get their hands on the titles as quickly as possible if they have access to the PS Now subscription. If you do, here’s how you can claim the titles. Firstly, the quickest way to do it would be to go to the PS Now App on your PlayStation console, which will likely be in your games library. After opening it up, all of the games will be available to pick up and download or stream.

It should be noted that The Last of Us Part II will only be available on PS Now until the 3rd of January 2022. Will you be picking these titles up?

The PlayStation Now October lineup is available now.
