Has Titanfall’s Online Community Started To Dwindle?

Titanfall was one of this year’s most anticipated games when it came out in March. Being an online only game, having active players is key to the game’s survival. However, people have noticed the Titanfall community has started to dwindle recently.

Over in NeoGAF, a whole forum has been created with many Titanfall players commenting how the online population in the game has started to thin out recently. People have said the “Attrition” mode is the only place where you can normally find active Titanfall players. The other modes in the game like “Hardpoint Domination”, “Capture the Flag” and “Pilot Hunter” don’t have that many active players anymore.

It’s interesting to note that both Xbox One and PC gamers of Titanfall seem to be having the same problem. PC commentators have noted the online community in the game is pretty much “dead” at this point. It’s not known how active the community is for Xbox 360 players however.

Respawn Entertainment have noted during an interview with CVG that the second and third DLC packs for Titanfall will be coming soon. The second pack should be out in three months, with the third pack following three months after that. The third DLC pack will be the final one released. More players could return with to the game when the new DLC packs are eventually released.

Do you own Titanfall and have you experienced a hard time finding other gamers to play with?
