While the simulation genre has been the home for some of the most boring games currently on the market, games like Farming Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator have been near the top when it comes to games having you do the most mundane things. Even though these games aren’t massive hits, however, they still have loyal fanbases that grow each year.
Now the Euro Truck Simulator series is getting an American version with American Truck Simulator next month, and a new trailer has been released to give everyone the rundown on what it’s all about. You get to see a lot of locations across the US that all look great from a visual standpoint, though that’s about all there is to it.
The Euro Truck Simulator series began in 2008 and has since branched off to other locations like Germany and the UK. The cities that will be available in American Truck Simulator include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, San Siego, Oakland and more. Updates will be released for the game post-launch that will include more areas from around the US.
American Truck Simulator is set to launch for the PC on February 3, 2016. Releases for the game on other platforms have not yet been confirmed, though other games in the Truck Simulator series have only released on PC.
