Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End To Still Honor Amy Hennig’s Work

Naughty Dog is promising that Amy Hennig’s work will still be honored in the upcoming release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann was interviewed recently by via DualShockers). He talked more in detail how he came in to make Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and how the studio is not forgetting about Amy Hennig’s work.

First of all, Druckmann thought he and his team were finished with the Uncharted series. After finishing up The Last of Us, they thought they were going to go on and develop something else. However, Druckmann was called to step in to be the new director and it went from there.

As some people may know, a lot of people that were working on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End left Naughty Dog once Druckmann and The Last of Us team came. The most notable departure was of Amy Hennig who was working on the story.

Druckmann acknowledged the work that Hennig started with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. He said she “starting something amazing, and we are really trying to honor that“. He then mentioned the team is going to honor the entire series and give fans a finale that will satisfy them.
