Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s Multiplayer To Be Made By The Last of Us Devs

The team that worked on The Last of Us will be helping out development on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s multiplayer mode.

Naughty Dog is a huge studio that is broken up in to two separate teams. One half worked on The Last of Us, while the other was focusing on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. It looks like the Uncharted team needs a little more help on the multiplayer side of things.

Lead game designer, Robert Cogburn, tweeted the following:

Fact:much of The Last of Us MP team have returned for U4 MP

Naughty Dog mentioned in the past that it is focusing heavily on the multiplayer mode of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The team wants to make the multiplayer mode as fun and as meaningful as the single player campaign. The multiplayer mode is said to be using some of the same level design from the single player mode.

The Last of Us’ multiplayer mode was mostly well received by gamers. It looks like Naughty Dog knew about this so asked some of those members to help out in developing Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End now has a Spring 2016 release. This was an obvious sign that Naughty Dogs needs more time to make the game as best as it can possibly be.
