Uncharted 4 Beta Release Date Revealed in New Nathan Drake Collection Trailer

by Kyle Hanson

Sony and Naughty Dog have released a new trailer for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Titled “Life of a Thief” the trailer has the usual cool shots from the first three games in the series. While the trailer itself is interesting enough for fans, the biggest revelation comes at the end, where the release date for the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta are announced.

The Multiplayer Beta will launch on December 4th 2015 and run until December 13th. This will give fans over a week to try out the multiplayer portion of the game, which comes free with the purchase of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

The game itself will be released on March 18th 2016, so this beta is coming well in advance of the full game. Uncharted 4 has received a couple of delays on its way to release, so Naughty Dog is definitely making sure the final game is polished, and relatively bug free. This multiplayer beta should help ensure the online portion holds up as well.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection hits PS4 on October 9th, bringing the single player campaigns from all three original PS3 games. Uncharted 4 follows in March 2016 with an all new campaign and multiplayer mode.
