Naughty Dog is currently working on Uncharted 4 for the PlayStation 4. Though with all the news coming out as of late being related to the key talent departing the studio, it’s a little reassuring to hear that they’ve picked up new developers to work on one of PlayStation’s big franchises.

Jonathan Cooper, animation director for Assassin’s Creed III and lead animator for the first two Mass Effect games, has joined Naughty Dog and will be working on the fourth Uncharted game.

Cooper’s Linkedin resume was recently updated to reflect the career move, and the developer has made a blog post about the move. According to Cooper, he’s been at Naughty Dog since February working on the PlayStation 4 game.

Little has been heard from Naughty Dog nor Sony about the next Uncharted game. It’s been all relatively bad news for the studio in recent months, with Amy Hennig, Justin Richmond, and Nate Wells have all left the company.

Sony is expected to reveal more about Uncharted 4 on the PS4 this year at E3.
