We are quickly approaching the release of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection in a few weeks, which is one of the big holiday titles for Sony’s PS4. With this generation requiring disc installs, hard drive space is certainly precious and it looks like you will have to clear a good bit of room for this one.
According to PlayStation Universe, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for PS4 will require quite a bit of space, 44.46 GB to be precise. This has been confirmed to be the exact amount when installed from the disc.
This is quite a lot of space, as it is one of the larger PS4 install sizes we’ve seen, though it is not surprising. Grand Theft Auto V as a remaster from last gen was just a little less, so it fits in pretty well, especially with the three games.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One in comparison was even larger with all of it’s games, so 44.46 GB does seem about right for a three game remaster that’s definitely gotten a lot of love and care.
Running at 1080p and 60FPS is going to look glorious on PS4, but just make sure to clear out that space before picking up Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection on October 9.
