While the Yakuza series has always been known for offering a multitiude of side attractions to go along with actually progressing the main plot, it looks like the side attractions are going to be amped up for Yakuza 6. There will be several playable classic Sega arcade games, though at least one of them is much more recent.
It was revealed in the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu that Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown will be playable within Yakuza 6. Accompanying this game are games such as Space Harrier, Puyo Puyo, OutRun, Fantasy Zone and Super Hang-On.
Of course, there will also be plenty of the other usuak side attractions like darts, pool and so on that you can take part in whenever you want.
The only question that remains regarding Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown is whether or not it is the complete game or just a segment of it, as this information was not revealed by Famitsu.
Yakuza 6 is currently set to launch exclusively for PlayStation 4 on December 8th in Japan, though release dates for other regions have not yet been confirmed.
