Warner Bros. CEO, Kevin Tsujihara, has admitted he has watched Batman vs Superman “multiple times” already. This confirms the rumors of a private screening reported a few weeks ago.

Mr Tsujihara was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter and he mentioned it was kind of a weak Summer season for Warner Bros. They didn’t manage to capture a huge audience like Universal Studios has this year.

However, he said delaying Batman vs Superman until March 2016 was a good move. Sure it made their 2015 lineup look a bit weak in comparison to other studios, but he admitted it was the right move for the studio and the movie itself.

Tsujihara then said that he has “seen the movie multiple times, and again last night“. He feels the delay made the quality of the movie better. This falls in line with the previous report of Warner Bros. executives giving the movie a standing ovation. It was also mentioned they loved Ben Affleck as Batman.

Warner Bros’ only standout film this Summer was San Andreas. This is mainly because of the star power of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Other films from the studio like Magic Mike XXL, Hot Pursuit and Entourage failed to resonate with movie goers.
