The long-awaited The Witcher 3 patch 1.07 has begun rolling out to all platforms. Â Marcin Momot revealed that over the next 24 hours the patch will go live, via Twitter. Â “Patch 1.07 will be arriving on all platforms in the next 24h. Â Once it’s live everywhere, we will officially announce it.”
Some players are already reporting that the patch is available in some regions. Â This image was captured a short time ago that shows at least one person is downloading it.
1.07 is a highly anticipated patch for the RPG because of a couple of big improvements. Â Most notably is the controversial movement system of the game. Â Players will be able to use an “alternate movement style” for Geralt that should change his response times. Â A laundry list of fixes and tweaks can be found in this thread on the CD Projekt Red Forums.
When Momot was asked a few days ago whether or not this patch would include fixes for the notorious frame rate dips in the PlayStation 4 version, the Community Manager revealed that it would.
At the time of this writing, patch 1.07 was available for download on the Xbox One in our region.
