World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Pre-Purchase Now Available.

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor can now be pre-purchased at Blizzard’s Battle.net Shop. The game is expected to release on or before 12/20/2014. Blizzard had said in the past that the Game would release by the Fall of 2014, and since December 20th is technically the last day of fall, it’s safe to say they will hit that mark. I think it will most likely release between September and November, however Blizzard is a master of reacting to other games to keep World of Warcraft relevant.

Pre-Purchase Includes Level 90 Character Boost

With several AAA MMOs scheduled to release this year, Blizzard is probably paying attention to what the other MMOs are doing, and will react to them to keep their “King Of The Hill” title. With the Pre-Purchase of the expansion comes an instant level 90 character boost. That should be a significant selling factor that will be noticeable immediately. Even though the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor release date is still a bit out, you will get a free level 90 boost to one of your characters bypassing the leveling grind. Which is a nice touch on Blizzard’s end.

After the announcement several people went on the Blizzard forums to ask about the release date and why it was taking longer to release than previous expansions. To which Community Manager Nethaera replied, “We’re working to get an awesome expansion into everyone’s hands as early into fall as possible. We’ll let everyone know once we have a specific release date to share.” With Blizzard’s successful track record in the MMO scene, World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor is primed for success. Most fans have been eagerly awaiting the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor BETA to release so they can get their first look into Draenor. As a gamer myself I am looking forward to what Blizzard brings to the table with this expansion. So are you guys looking forward to the expansion and are going to pre-purchase? Or are you going to wait until you can see more information on the expansion? Let us know in the comments section below.
