Blizzard has revealed the first trailer for the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft, titled Warlords of Draenor, along with the release date. World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor will be available starting November 13th 2014.

The story, as given on the Battle.net page reads: “The Iron Horde must be stopped. Garrosh Hellscream has escaped to the past and united with his father Grommash, fierce leader of Warsong clan. Together they are forging the orc clans of Draenor into a savage war machine. It falls to you to crush the Iron Horde before the Dark Portal is completed and the invasion begins. Travel to the Draenor of the past: a world of giants and monsters, a world the fearsome and legendary orc chieftains call home. Face the dangers of this untamable world and bring down the Iron Horde — before both the past and the future are lost forever.”
Time travel and alternate dimensions are major elements of World of Warcraft: warlords of Draenor. If you watch the cinematic trailer and are familiar with Warcraft lore then you understand how big of a change this is for the series. A major event in World of Warcraft history is being revisited for this expansion. While it isn’t being changed in the main timeline, it is in another and the two will combine to cause some interesting results. The effects of which will most likely be significant and far-reaching.
The game is available for purchase on Battle.net for $49.99 for the standard edition and $69.99 for the digital deluxe version. The digital deluxe version comes with in-game items such as the Dread Raven mount, Dread Hatchling Pet, Starcraft II portraits, and Diablo III Warsong Pennant. World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor will boost your character to level 90 and then offer levels 91 through 100 for further leveling. You must already own World of Warcraft and Mists of Pandaria along with an active subscription to play the game.
