Tinder for Nazis’ gets hacked live on stream by activist in pink Power Ranger costume, and the data dump is absolutely wild

"Master race" couldn't master basic security.

A hacktivist named Martha Root broke into WhiteDate and deleted the entire site during a live talk at a hacker conference in Hamburg, Germany. Root, dressed as a pink Power Ranger, livestreamed the whole thing while the audience watched. She then downloaded 100 gigabytes of data from the site and posted 8,000 user profiles online for everyone to see.

Acording to The Sun, WhiteDate called itself a “dating platform for white people with traditional European values” and said it was a “counter to woke culture.” Root said the site’s security was so bad it “would make even your grandma’s AOL account blush.” She also made fun of users who uploaded photos with location data that basically gave away their home addresses.

The leak showed information like usernames, ages, locations, and personal bios from user profiles. Email addresses and private messages were not included in the leak. Root joked about how people calling themselves the “master race” forgot to secure their own website properly.

The site had thousands of users before the hack

Most of the leaked profiles were from the United States, with about 400 users each from the UK, France, and Germany. One profile from a 27-year-old man in Barnard Castle, County Durham, said he was looking for “a woman who understands the threat to our race.” The data showed WhiteDate had more than 6,500 users total, with 86 percent being men and 14 percent women.

Root got into the site using AI chatbots that passed the verification process and were marked as “white.” She gave her talk with journalists Eva Hoffmann and Christian Fuchs at the Chaos Communication Congress event. The site is still offline at the time of writing. Like other cases where people weren’t who they claimed to be online, this hack exposed how someone pretended to be royalty and fooled others for a long time.

The site’s administrator confirmed the hack on social media and promised there would be “repercussions.” The WhiteDate profile wrote that Root “publicly deleted all my websites while the audience rejoices” and called it “cyberterrorism.” The admin said they would find the people responsible and make them pay.

Root also wiped and downloaded data from two other sites at the same event. WhiteChild claimed to match sperm and egg donors for white supremacists, while WhiteDeal was a marketplace advertised for racists. All three sites were taken down during the live demonstration. The incident shows how daily routines at certain jobs can reveal unexpected behind-the-scenes details, much like this hack revealed what was happening on these hidden platforms.
