How to access Modern Warfare 3 “Elite Playlists”

There has been some confusion surrounding how to access Content Drop #1 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.  This short video explains how to access the recently released content for the game.  Simply fire up Modern Warfare 3, navigate to the in-game store, a prompt will ask you if you want to download the free content, then wait for the downloads to finish.

Once the downloads are complete, a new playlist will be added to your available ones, and it includes Elite Team Deathmatch, Elite Kill Confirmed, Elite Domination, Elite Search and Destroy, Elite Objectives, Elite HC Richochet Mosh Pit.

The two new maps, as well as the full rotation of older ones are available from the new playlist.  No word from Infinity Ward on when, if ever, they will merge the regular playlists, for players that play game modes not available at the launch of the content.
