Also, PS+ is not required to host third party apps such as Netflix or party-chat but it is required for online play. Amazon currently has the Dual Shock 4 priced at $59.96 while Gamestop and Best Buy have it priced at $59.99. The Microsoft Store currently has the Xbox One Wireless Controller at $59.99 and the Play and Charge Kit for $24.99. The bundled Wireless Controller and Play and Charge Kit is $74.99 while the Xbox One headset is $24.99. 12 month Xbox Gold is also being sold for $59.99. Amazon has the Xbox One controller marked as $59.96 while Gamestop and Best Buy have it marked at $59.99.

Keep in mind that the Xbox One does not ship with a headset, presumably because Kinect 2.0 is supposed to be more than adequate for chat, while the PlayStation 4 comes with a headset. Also keep in mind that the PS4 is compatible with PS3 wireless headsets while the Xbox One is not with Xbox 360 headsets. Finally, keep in mind the Dual Shock 4 comes packaged with a rechargeable battery pack while the Xbox One controller does not.
