Transformers: Devastation is Platinum Games’ attempt at making a good Transformers game, a feat few have achieved thus far. And given what early reports by both critic and user alike are saying, they’ve done just that. It is Platinum Games we’re talking about.
Anyway, we’re not here to restate the obvious, nor do we need to explain why a Transformers game that looks aesthetically similar to the ’80s cartoon but plays like a smooth and refined beat ’em up from the best in the business is appealing. Besides, we’ve talked about the game before.
What we’re here to do today is to tell you that the game is out and about, the Autobots have rolled out and are taking on the Decepticons as we speak. And to celebrate that fact, or rather, conscript you into the fight, we’ve got Transformers: Devastation’s launch trailer primed and ready, enjoy:
