Activision and Treyarch have opened the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Beta for everyone. Â Previously, you had to have a beta token to access the game, but throughout the remaining couple of days of the beta anyone can jump in and play.
Interested PS4 owners will need to have the latest firmware for the console, and then head to the PlayStation Store to download the beta. Â If you’re having trouble finding the beta on the PlayStation Store, Activision advises searching with the term ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer Beta.’
While the Black Ops 3 Beta has been going on for few days now, Treyarch recently rolled out an increased level cap that gives players access to new weapons, scorestreaks, perks, and more. Â They also revealed a new map, as well as another Specialist multiplayer character.
The beta weighs in at around 12GB with further updates needed to start playing. Â The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Beta is slated to conclude on August 23rd.
