The latest issue of V-Jump magazine in Japan has revealed the release date for Dragon Ball Fusions. The magazine also takes a look at an all-new character.
Dragon Ball Fusions will be released on August 4th, 2016 in Japan. The game is an RPG and is exclusive to Japan right now. There’s no word if it will be released elsewhere, although Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is already going to be out later this year.
V-Jump also revealed an exciting new fused character that has never featured in the franchise before. There are two fusions between Gohan and Trunks that will result in the character of ‘Gohanks’. The first fusion has the two characters fused as kids, while the second one is when Gohan fuses with Future Trunks.
In terms of character design, Gohanks looks pretty similar to Gotenks as the purple and black spiky hair is still prevalent. The older version of Gohanks wears the same clothing as Gotenks, although his face resembles that of Future Trunks more.
Hopefully Bandai Namco considers releasing Dragon Ball Fusions outside of Japan. The premise of the game sounds very unique and it introduces us to a lot of new character fusions
