The roster for Dragon Ball Z games are usually very large and extensive. Dragon Ball Xenoverse could have room for around 126 fighters in total.
As reported by DragonBallZKai.net, Dragon Ball Xenoverse’s recent presentation at the Japan Expo showed the character selection screens. Most of the fighters were blanked out, but there were 21 character slots. There is a total of 6 pages to wade through so this could mean 126 fighters are being planned to be included. Bear in mind the game is still in development so the number of fighters could change between now and the game’s release.
Still, 126 fighters in total is a large number to have in a fighting game. It was noted before the full roster count for Dragon Ball Xenoverse is still being finalized. We can be sure all of the favorite and popular Dragon Ball Z characters are all in the game. Bandai Namco wanted to make sure to keep the fans happy by keeping all of the favorite fighters. We do know that the game will be centered around a mysterious red-haired fighter. He comes from the future and somehow gets involved with the other fighters. Whether he is a friend or a foe, nobody knows yet.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse releases for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. No release date for the game has officially been set yet.
