The file size for Final Fantasy 15 has been confirmed. As expected, the game’s file size will be large so make room in your hard drive for it.

As shared by a user on NeoGAF, a download card is available in Japan where more details have been posted about Final Fantasy 15. On the download card itself, it says that the game on PS4 will take up to 45GB.

Most open-world video games are around 40 to 50GB in size so this is not out of the ordinary. It has already been confirmed that the game will be getting some DLC which means you might have to free up even more space. This does not even include update patches that are sure to be out post-launch.

As for the game’s release date, there are big signs that it won’t be out until November 29th. This has yet to be officially confirmed, although an announcement is expected to be released sometime this week.

The game was supposed to be out on September 30th, although it looks like Square Enix needs more time to polish up the gameplay. It’s a game that will take you over 60 hours to complete the main storyline, so a lot of content needs to be looked over.
