Famitsu magazine has published the first review for Dragon Ball Xenoverse. They gave out some exciting new information about the game.
In terms of the overall review score that Dragon Ball Xenoverse received, it got a decent number. The review score was a 30/40 from the four reviewers. They gave review scores of 7, 8, 8 and 7.
ShonenGamez managed to grab a scan from Famitsu and translated it to English. The most important thing they noted about Dragon Ball Xenoverse is that the story’s length is a respectable 15 hours long. If you want to obtain all of the customization features, the game offers you well over 100 hours worth of gameplay.
Famitsu noted Dragon Ball Xenoverse isn’t without its faults and flaws. They noted mission variations get repetitive the further you progress. They also noted there was some lag when playing the game’s 3 on 3 mode.
However, Famitsu said Dragon Ball Xenoverse is aimed at Dragon Ball fans and they should be happy. They also said the game will appeal to fighting game fans and gamers that love fast action games.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse is out in Japan on February 5th. The game isn’t coming out to Western countries until the end of February. We’ll have to wait to see what other reviewers think of the game in a few week’s time.
