Godzilla has been one of the most iconic figures over the years, especially in Japan. To latch onto the recent popularity of the character, it was revealed late last year that a brand new game was going to be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and now we know when it will be stomping its way into the US and Europe.
Numerous movies and even games have been made in that time based on the legendary Kaiju, but there have certainly been many ups and downs for both. Godzilla is back in the spotlight in the US especially with the release of the new movie last summer that was well received from most and did well enough in the box office for a sequel to be greenlit almost instantly.
Bandai Namco Games revealed a brand new trailer for the game through their official Tumblr account that reveals that it will be coming sometime this July. The trailer looks quite cool, with Godzilla taking on Mothra in ultimate “Godzilla Style.” However, the only disappointing aspect is that the trailer specifically states that the footage shown is from the PlayStation 3 version instead of the current-gen version.
