Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin just posted the first in-game footage of Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer. Â The video is brief, and only shows the game’s menu, but it does offer a peek at an unannounced feature called “Squads” in the upcoming shooter.
Rubin offered no further details about the game via the social network, so fans are left to their own devices to speculate on what this means for Call of Duty multiplayer for the time being. Â They won’t have to wait too long, Infinity Ward is slated to release the first multiplayer details for Call of Duty: Ghosts on August 14th in a live stream on Xbox Live and Call of Duty.com.
Although no fresh details have arrived for Ghosts in over a month, the shooter has still made headlines in recent weeks.  Activision recently explained that Call of Duty: Ghosts has seen less pre-order intent from fans than was seen for Black Ops 2.  Though  Activision has chalked that up to the arrival of next-gen consoles and uncertainty.
Call of Duty: Ghosts arrives in early November for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC. Â A next-gen version of the game will likely be a launch title for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
