Konami has released some more specs for the console versions of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
On the official website, Konami released a table showing all of the specs the game can do including the frame rate and resolution performance.
First off there are the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The older consoles will only be able to push 720p and 30fps.
The PS4 version has managed to top 1080p and 60fps. This is a target many developers push for and Hideo Kojima and his team managed to achieve this.
As for the Xbox One version, it too can achieve 60fps but the resolution is only 900p. It does day the final output is 1080p, so this could mean it’s getting upscaled and is not a native resolution.
PC users have a max of 60fps, but the resolution can be maxed out to 3840×2160. This is understandable since PC hardware varies between users and some people have more powerful machines than others.
Whether or not resolution and frame rates matter are up to you guys. Some gamers love the maximum resolution and frame rate to all their games. Others may not even care or even notice the differences.
