Microsoft Reacts To Competing With Nintendo NX Console

Even though nobody knows much about the Nintendo NX yet, this hasn’t stopped people from asking what the competition feels about a new console coming out to the market soon.

Gamesbeat had a chance to interview Aaron Greenberg who is the head of marketing for Xbox. The website asked him how the impending release for the Nintendo NX will impact Microsoft’s Xbox One.

He responded:I’m not sure what Nintendo’s doing. I hear the same rumors and stuff that you do. I guess we’ll react to that when we know more. Nintendo’s always been innovative. They’ve always differentiated in their own way. They’ve always danced to their own tune, if you will. It wouldn’t surprise me if they do their own thing when the time is right. What they’ve done is unique and different. How they’ll compete with us remains to be seen.

Nintendo is keeping smart by not leaking any details for the NX console just yet. Nintendo plans to make the console innovative and new unlike with its Wii U console. Even though the PS4 and Xbox One are popular now, things could change if the NX brings something fresh to the table.

We won’t know what the Nintendo NX console will do until the company announces its features in 2016. 2016 is not too far off now so hopefully some details are revealed in a few month’s time.
