Steam User Reviews Are Poor For Street Fighter 5 PC Thanks To Server Issues And More

Street Fighter 5 may have been well received by numerous critics, but users that have bought the game on Steam have not been that kind. The user reviews are not pretty at the moment for PC gamers.

The user review score for Street Fighter 5 is only 6/10 at the moment. A lot of users are giving the game a thumbs down due to many things including the servers not running properly and more.

The servers have been patchy ever since the game came out and it has been a problem for PS4 owners as well. Not to mention the lack of offline content has been criticized. Many people don’t like the fact that the game does not even have a simple Arcade mode.

To be fair though, the Challenge mode and another playable Story feature will be released for free in the near future. It’s not like other games where all of the post content is locked behind a paywall. More fighters will be purchasable using the in-game currency of “Fight Money”, although lazier gamers can use real money if they want to.

Still, many Steam players feel the game is not worth $59.99 right now as Street Fighter 5 at launch does not offer much. It might have been a good idea if Capcom delayed the game to put in the extra features.
