A closed beta is now available to sign up for in Phantasy Star Online 2. You will need to have a Japanese PSN account first though.
Applying to get an invite for the Phantasy Star Online 2  closed beta is not very hard to do. All you have to do is click here and you can grab a ticket for it. It does require you to type in your date of birth though.
You will also need to have a Japanese PSN account and they will email you if have been accepted to the closed beta or not. Chances to be accepted in the beta are reasonable as 50,000 slots are available for players.
The beta starts from February 25th, 2016 and runs until March 6th, 2016. To secure a ticket, you have until February 15th, 2016 to do that. Some free items will also be given out to those that participate.
Another great thing about the Phantasy Star Online 2 closed beta is that you don’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription to take part. You can simply play it just with an internet connection without needing to pay for Plus.
