Platinum Games has revealed on their official blog that they have been making games for 10 years now, sharing a brief message to fans who have come along for the journey with them.
The posts reads: “Happy New Year from everyone at PlatinumGames! 2016 will mark 10 years since we established our company. As always, our resolution is to continue our strongest efforts toward game development. We hope that this will be an incredible year for everyone. Look forward to what we have in store!”
They even published a sweet New Year’s postcards that features all of their IPs, as well as ones coming in the future that you can check out at the top of this post. The studio has definitely been involved with some great projects and even more are on the horizon for 2016 and beyond.
Unfortunately, the Xbox One exclusive called Scalebound that Platinum is developing got delayed to 2017, with the company citing the massive scale of the game resulting in more time needed to refine the experience. However, both Star Fox Zero and Nier Automata are both currently expected to release this year, with Star Fox Zero having a concrete release date of April 21.
