Respawn Aiming For 60fps For Titanfall 2 On PS4, Xbox One And PC

When it comes to FPS games, the framerate is really important in order to have a smooth experience. Respawn is hoping to make Titanfall 2 60fps on all platforms.

Titanfall 2’s art director, Joel Emslie, confirmed in a recent interview that Respawn Entertainment is targeting 60fps on all platforms. They also want the framerate to be the same on both the single player and multiplayer modes.

This is significant because the framerate is different in other games. In Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, the multiplayer mode was 60fps while the single player mode was only 30fps. Emslie said it’s a huge goal for the team in order to achieve 60fps on all platforms and modes.

As for the resolution of the game, we still have to wait for specific numbers on that front. Two playable betas will be out for the game very soon, so people could estimate the resolution based on that. However, betas don’t always represent the full product so it’s best to judge it when it comes out this October.

PC gamers probably don’t have to worry about the resolution and framerate. It’s likely Titanfall 2 could see a better performance if people are able to play it on the PS4 Neo. The PS4 Neo is rumored to be out before the end of the year.
