Rumor: Insider Says PS4 Sold Over 1 Million Units In November; Black Friday Records Broken

A reliable insider has said that the PS4 console managed to sell over 1 million units this November. A few other records were broken on Black Friday too.

Tidux revealed these details on his Twitter account. First of all, he revealed that over 1 million PS4 consoles have been sold in November alone. This is a big deal if it turns out to be true.

Black Friday was also a huge day. It was the “second-highest figure of new consoles that were connected to the PSN“. The only other day that exceeded it was the first day that the PS4 launched. This is evidence many more new people bought the console.

Black Friday also saw a new record for PS4 users all online. Online sales on the PSN were also at an all time high. This is believable as the PlayStation Store had many sales for Black Friday by discounting games by a large margin. PlayStation Plus sales also hit a record high with many people signing up and/or extending and renewing their existing accounts.

Sony might make an official announcement on these figures soon, if they turn out to be true. Tidux has been reliable in the past, although it should still be counted as a rumor for now.
