Microsoft doesn’t announce official sales figures for the Xbox One anymore, so all we have are estimates. A recent estimate shows that the console has now crossed over the 20 million unit mark.

This new estimate comes from VGChartz. The site reports the Xbox One crossed the new milestone on February 13th, 2016. To be more specific, they say the console has sold exactly 20,067,310 units so far.

In terms of software sales, over 116,833,042 games have been sold on the console. This only includes retail stores, so total software sales should be higher if the digital market was included.

According to VGChartz, the best selling game on the platform is Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 with well over 6 million units. Advanced Warfare is a close second with over 5 million units. Rounding out the top five are Grand Theft Auto V, Halo 5: Guardians and then Fallout 4.

The 20 million unit mark falls in line with the estimates that EA reported a few weeks ago. EA announced that both the PS4 and Xbox One have collectively sold around 60 million units. Sony reported earlier this year that PS4 sales were at 36 million units back in January.

From these estimates, it’s safe we can assume that the PS4 has sold close to 40 million units now with the Xbox One at 20 million units. The 8th generation console market is still going strong and should continue to trend upwards in 2016.
